Don't cry for my absence, feel close and talk to me. I will love you from Heaven as I have loved you from Earth.

Did you know that an Eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks ?---The Eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the Eagle is soaring above it.-- The Eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm. --When the storms of life come upon us, and all of us will experience them, we can rise above them by seeting our minds and our beliefs toward GOD. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow GOD'S power to lift us above them.--GOD enables us to ride the winds of the storm that brings sickness, tragedy, and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storms.--Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weighs us down, it is how we handle them.

I thought I saw your face today in the sparkle of the morning sun. And then I heard the Angel say,

" His work on Earth is done." ~~ I thought I heard your voice today, then laugh your hearty laugh. And then I heard the Angel say, " There's peace dear one at last." ~~I thought I felt your touch today in the breeze that rustled by. And then the Angel said, " The spirit never dies." ~~ I thought I seen my broken heart in the crescent of the moon. And then I heard the Angel say, " The LORD is coming soon." ~~I thought that you had left me for the stars so far above. And then I heard the Angel say, " He left you with his love." ~~I thought that I would miss you so and never find my way. And then I heard the Angel say, " He's with you every day." " The sun, the wind, the moon, the stars, will forever be around, reminding you of the love you shared, and the peace he's finally found."

GOD gives us all a litltle time, that time goes by so fast. We're told it is borrowed, we know it won't last. And then before we know it a lifetime has unfurled, then He takes us back to another world. But GOd is never selfish, He nurses us with love until we meet again in His Garden up Above.

When I walked through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home when GOD looked down and smiled at me from His Great Throne, He said, " This is Eternity and all that I've promised you."

I did not live for money, nor the accumulation of material possessions, nor for fleeting pleasures. rather, I lived for that which was priceless, unpossessible, and everlasting---for the love of those who I still love from Heaven.

Ecclesiastes III 3:1-3:8----To everything there is a season, a time for everything under the sun. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to laugh and a time to cry. A time to dance and a time to mourn. A time to seek and a time to let go. This is the time we remember one who gave meaning to our lives. This is the time we will remember the bonds that tied us together, the love that we shared, and the memories that remain with us still.

It's lonely here without you, we miss you more each day, for life is not the same to us, since you were called away. To your resting place we visit, place the flowers there with care, but no one knows our heartache, when we turn and leave you there.

Success or failure in life is not defined by money, or position, rather by the people whose life you change through your life, whether for good or ill, true wealth is measured by the people in our lives that love us.

The Oak Tree....A mighty wind blew night and day, it stole the Oak tree's leaves away, then snapped it's boughs and pulled it's bark until the Oak tree was tired and stark. But the Oak tree held it's ground while other trees feel around~~The wind gave up and spoke, " How can you still be standing, Oak? " The Oak tree said, ' I know that you can break every branch of mine in two, carry every leaf away, shake my limbs and make me sway, but, I have roots stretched in this earth, growing stronger since birth.'~~Until today, I wasn't sure of just how much I could endure. But now I've found with Thanks to You, I'm stronger than I ever knew.

There's no fairy godmother to make my wish come true. No genie in a bottle to bring me to you. No prayer on a fallen star. No magic potion in a jar. But I can dream that I'm there with you.

I've only gone to rest awhile....Fill not your heart in pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joys, the laughter, the smiles. I've only gone to rest awhile.~~Although my leaving has caused pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.~~So, dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am but as I used to be.~~I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts I've only gone to rest awhile.~~As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live in the hearts of all of you.

~~All of my love Dave~~~

  Like a comet

blazing across the evening sky.

Gone too soon.

Like a rainbow

fading in a twinkling of an eye.

Gone too soon.

Shining and sparkly

and splendidly bright.

Here one day.

Gone one night.

Like the loss of sunlight

on a cloudy afternoon.

Gone too soon.

Like a perfect flower

that is just beyond your reach.

Gone too soon.

Born to amuse, to inspire,

to delight.

Here one day.

Gone one night.

Like a sunset

dying with the rising moon.

Gone too soon.

GOD sent me down as a ray of hope

and it has broken through.

Tomorrow is a brand new day

and I can start anew.

The forecast is for sunny skies

with not a cloud in sight.

So, I'm getting a pair of shades

and walking in his light.

I'm packing up my yesterdays

and leaving them behind.

To run off with Joy and Love and Hope

and my new found Peace of Mind.

So, Mr. Despair don't look for me

when tomorrow's day is done.

I'm putting down roots in this place I found

called GOD'S Garden in the Sun.

Final Inspection--- The Soldier stood and faced GOD which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shining just as bright as his brass.

--Step forward you Soldier, how shall I deal with you ? Have you always turned the other cheek ?

To my church have you been true ?--The Soldier squared his shoulders and said "No, Lord I guess I ain't because those of us that carry guns can't always be saints.--I've had to work on Sundays and at times my talk was tough, and sometimes I've been violent because the world is awfully rough.--But, I never took a penny that wasn't mine to keep. Though I worked a lot of overtime when the bills got just to steep.--And I never passed a cry for help though at times I shook with fear, and sometimes GOD forgive me, I've weeped unmanly tears.--I know I do not deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fears.--If you've a place for me here, LORD it needn't be grand, I never expected or had too much, but if you don't, " I'll understand."--There was silence all around the throne where Saints had often trod as the Soldier waited quietly for The Judgement of GOD.--" Step forward, you Soldier, you've borne your burden well. Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, you've done your time in Hell."

Freedom isn't Free---I watched the flag pass by one day it fluttered in the breeze. A young Soldier saluted it, and then he stood at ease.---I looked at him in uniform so young, so tall, so proud with hair cut square and eyes alert he'd stand out in a crowd.

---I thought how many men like him had fallen through the years. How many died on foreign soil ?

How many Mother's tears ?---How many Pilot's planes shot down ? How many Foxholes were Soldier's graves ?---No-Freedom isn't Free.---I heard the sound of TAPS one night, when everything was still. I listened to the Bugler play and felt a sudden chill.---I wondered how many times that TAPS meant "Amen." When a flag had draped a coffin of a brother or friend.---I thought of all the children, of the mothers and wives, of fathers, sisters, and brothers with interrupted lives.

---I thought about a graveyard at the edge of town, David that you wouldn't see. Of all the graves of Fallen Soldiers.---No-- Freedom isn't Free-- Bob Bowling U.S. Army Sgt.( WWII and Korean War Veteran)

I saw her from a distance as she walked up to the wall, in her hands she held some flowers as her tears began to fall, and she took out pen and paper as to trace her memories and she looked up to heaven and the words she said were these....She said, " LORD my boy was special, and he meant so much to me and Oh, I'd love to see him just one more time to see. All I have is memories and the moments to recall.----So, LORD could you tell him, He's more than a name on a wall.....She said, " He really missed family and friends and being home on special days and he died for GOD and Country in a place so far away.---I remember just a little boy playing war since he was three. But LORD this time I know, he's not coming home to me.---And she said, " LORD my boy was special, and he meant so much to me, and Oh, I'd love to see him but I know it just can't be. So, I thank you for the memories and the moments to recall.--But, LORD could you tell him, he's more than a name on a wall.

Adam D. Jones

Happy Birthday, Adam. You are missed so much every minute of everyday! XOXO ~143~ You will forever be in my heart and on my mind. Love always, Tammy

Laurie Cobb

She was my 3rd and 5th grade teacher. Today I'm 32 and still think about her. She was the best teacher ever. From her hair children stories to her bubbly happiness and kindness she spread. I'll never forget her. She was the teacher who had lunch with the kids in her classroom so everyone had someone to be with. She made my school experience amazing. I will never forget her.. I love you Mrs. Cobb. Sincerely, Forever in my thoughts, Alyssa (Viau) Capone

Larry E Polley Jr

SPC Polley died almost two decades ago so I don't know if this message will be seen. In honor of Memorial Day, my agency hands out cards with names of those who have fallen. This year, 2023, I received the card for SPC Polley and was inspired to look up more on him. I am thankful for his service and sacrifice. My condolences to his family. He is not forgotten.

Money comes and go so it's not worth losing you.

I sincerely apologize for not sharing sooner. but would like to express that Chris's memory will never be forgotten! though he is not with us he will always be in spirit! James David Parker

I knew James David Parker as "Dave" when he lived in Solon Ohio. We met when I moved into town from out of state. He and his group of friends were a year or two older than me. Dave was a bright beacon of hope and joy to me. I was an unsure young man in a strange place. Dave introduced me to many people and ensured his friends always saved me a seat in the lunchroom. I have fond memories of him and his friends during that time. I doubt so many people would have been as wonderful toward me without Dave's incredible kindness. I've never forgotten his kindness. I hope to be able to pay it forward someday.

Tyler O. Griffin
