Daniel James Gallagher
Total Candles 3
I first met Reds in April 1996 when I and some friends had tickets to a Dave Matthews concert in Virginia. He was a friend of a friend and a huge Dave fan. Reds went to the concert with us, and we had the best time ever. He and I automatically became friends. After the concert, I ran into him many times at different parties. He was always so happy to see me and I him. I remember running into him about five or six months ago in Allentown at Crocodile Rock's. I introduced him to my fiance'. He said how happy he was for me and told my fiance' that he was very lucky. Reds was an incredible guy. One that I will never forget and will miss very much.

James Andrew Gadiel
Total Candles 3
To my friend James: I can't remember the exact moment we met, but I do remember all of the fun we had: Christmas Weekend freshman year, Lip Sync (remember that skirt?), hanging around the SNu house, introducing you to my "little sister," and spending hours in the C-School. You were always the life of the party and always a good friend. I already miss you -- your smile, your laugh -- and I can't wait until we meet again. Until then, I'll keep you in my heart and I thank you for all of the memories.
Erika Cassutti, college friend

I was very saddened to hear about Andrew's death. His bravery on September 11 should be an example for all to follow. He risked his life for others. A task so great that not everyone would be able to do. He will be greatly missed.

Ryan D. Fitzgerald
Total Candles 3
I went to high school with Ryan at Holy Cross in Flushing, New York. I remember the first day I met him in freshman year like it was yesterday. I lost touch with him after graduating high school but always considered him a friend. I found out a month ago, in November, that Ryan was lost in this unspeakable horror. My sympathy goes to his family.

Samuel Fields
Total Candles 3
To the Fields family: I met Samuel Fields in June 2000 while working at 1 WTC. I named him Smiley because no matter what type of day he might have had, he always had this beautiful smile on his face. We would often chat, and I knew that he had a heart of gold. After September 11th, I searched the papers and watched the television to find a hint of what may have happened to Smiley. Deep down in my heart, I knew he would be one of the missing because knowing Smiley, he would have never left the building as long as people were still there. He would have been working with the FDNY & NYPD, side-by-side. My co-workers and I all felt the same. Two weeks later, I saw his picture in the missing column. My heart shattered into a million pieces. Samuel Fields will forever be in our hearts.

Bradley James Fetchet
Total Candles 3
Today marked the tenth anniversary of 9/11. It was my honor to carry Bradley's name tag on our motorcycle rally around the area. I pray for all the people including the families of those lost. We live far away from where these things happened but it is in our country and it will always affect us and we remember. Our club is comprised of firefighters, but all the clubs participated in honoring you. Like the man said "let's roll", and that's what we do. We'll meet someday up the road. God bless.

Adam D. Jones

Happy Birthday, Adam. You are missed so much every minute of everyday! XOXO ~143~ You will forever be in my heart and on my mind. Love always, Tammy

Laurie Cobb

She was my 3rd and 5th grade teacher. Today I'm 32 and still think about her. She was the best teacher ever. From her hair children stories to her bubbly happiness and kindness she spread. I'll never forget her. She was the teacher who had lunch with the kids in her classroom so everyone had someone to be with. She made my school experience amazing. I will never forget her.. I love you Mrs. Cobb. Sincerely, Forever in my thoughts, Alyssa (Viau) Capone

Larry E Polley Jr

SPC Polley died almost two decades ago so I don't know if this message will be seen. In honor of Memorial Day, my agency hands out cards with names of those who have fallen. This year, 2023, I received the card for SPC Polley and was inspired to look up more on him. I am thankful for his service and sacrifice. My condolences to his family. He is not forgotten.

Paul C. Holter III

Love you and miss you always. Since you been gone it has been hard for everyone. I know you loved what you did, and I want to thank you for our freedom. If I can have you back home and safe living your life man everything would be different. No matter how much money they would offer me I would rather have you alive and home. Money comes and go so it's not worth losing you.

I have never forgotten his sacrifice. I would like to share that the greatest memory I had of Chris is that he would speak highly of his mom and how much she meant to him. Chris was a strong minded person and looked out for other. He was kind and friendly the he made friends with everyone. Chris was truly a great man! I sincerely apologize for not sharing sooner. but would like to express that Chris's memory will never be forgotten! though he is not with us he will always be in spirit! If this message gets to Christopher's mother I she could know she raised a great man and for that I thank you.

James David Parker

I knew James David Parker as "Dave" when he lived in Solon Ohio. We met when I moved into town from out of state. He and his group of friends were a year or two older than me. Dave was a bright beacon of hope and joy to me. I was an unsure young man in a strange place. Dave introduced me to many people and ensured his friends always saved me a seat in the lunchroom. I have fond memories of him and his friends during that time. I doubt so many people would have been as wonderful toward me without Dave's incredible kindness. I've never forgotten his kindness. I hope to be able to pay it forward someday.

Tyler O. Griffin
