I am so sorry that you had to leave this earth and your family so soon. You should have been an old man when you departed from this earth bound scene. Thank you for your personal fight for freedom for the people over in Iraq and Afghanistan which took your life. You gave your all, and some gave a little but at least you stood up for the right for every citizen of every country to be safe in their homes and not be killed because of their different view points. You are in heaven and bin Laudin is in hell, that is justice for you and all your fellow buddies in this world who died for us all.

I have not turned my back on you, so there's no need to cry, I am watching you from Heaven, just beyond the morning sky; I have seen you almost fall apart, when you could barely stand, I asked the LORD to comfort you, and I watched him take your hand. He told me you were in more pain, than I could ever be, he wiped his eyes and swallowed hard, then gave your hand to me; although you may not feel my touch; or see me by your side, I've whispered that I love you, while I wiped away each tear you cried.

To some I may be nothing more than a distant memory. My life on earth is over now, but do you remember me ? I know, I left without warning, but GOD's work for me was through. Please do not try to stop the thoughts of me, because I never will of you.---Some may hear or speak my name and vanish the thought of me, why is it now that I am gone no one stops to see, I am closer to you now than I ever was before. I love you all the same and will for ever more. So please don't let my memories slowly fade away...For I'm still inside your heart you see, where I will always stay.---Don't think of me as gone forever because someday we'll meet again. keep me close inside your heart until GOD tells you when.---You may be there many years, no one ever knows, so let my memory stay alive as the love indide you grows.---

There beside a grave she stands. A folded flag clutched in her hands. A silent teardrop on her face, her brave young child has entered grace. She does not hear the sermon said, just memories run through her head. The child she loved so long ago, the child with faith she let go. The child who heard the nation's call, and in the end gave it all. Without fear or thoughts of self, thoughts of freedom and little else. The bugle sounds TAPS in the wind, a mournful song it does send. A reminder to us all, that for freedom, this price was paid, and her sweet young to rest was laid.~~I am sorry for your loss. May you find peace, strength, and love.--

Norma Coan, Louisville, Ky.

Beautiful memories are wonderful things, they last till the longest day, they never wear out, never get lost, and can never be given away. To some you may be forgotten, to others a part of the past. But to those who loved you, your memory will last.~~Thank you Sgt. Parker for Defending America. I will never forget the sacrifice that you and others have made to keep me safe at night. ~~ Stevie Coan, Louisville, Ky.

Tattered around the edges and faded now with time; memories that linger still, are what they left behind. Like a precious package, kept in a secret room; each a memory, a treasure, a family heirloom. On rare and quiet occassion, the package opens wide; revealing then the memories, that nestle there inside, faces etched in memories like a photo from the past; each snapshot printed in the heart, and memories that last.---Worn and ragged photographs, so faded now with time; yet the lasting love deep in your heart, is what they left behind.~~GOD BLESS~~Chloe Coan, Louisville, Ky.

A life well-lived doesn't end any more than the music ends, it echoes through time with whispers of beauty and grace. If we listen, we can hear the encore with our hearts, for the songs play on, just as love lives on. Just remember that grief cannot take away the happiness you shared, that sorrow will fade in time, but love remains forever.---Nikki Coan, Louisville, Ky.

The tide recedes but leaves bright seashells on the sand, the sun goes down but the gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops & yet it echoes on in sweet refrains....for every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.---May GOD comfort you all the days of your lives.---Jodi Coan

Don't think of Elisha as gone away, his journey has just begun. Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one.---Just think of him as resting from sorrow and tears, in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years.---Think of how he must be wishing that you could know today, how nothing but your sadness can really pass away.---And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched and he was loved so much.----Dorothy Bowling, Louisville, Ky.

Adam D. Jones

Happy Birthday, Adam. You are missed so much every minute of everyday! XOXO ~143~ You will forever be in my heart and on my mind. Love always, Tammy

Laurie Cobb

She was my 3rd and 5th grade teacher. Today I'm 32 and still think about her. She was the best teacher ever. From her hair children stories to her bubbly happiness and kindness she spread. I'll never forget her. She was the teacher who had lunch with the kids in her classroom so everyone had someone to be with. She made my school experience amazing. I will never forget her.. I love you Mrs. Cobb. Sincerely, Forever in my thoughts, Alyssa (Viau) Capone

Larry E Polley Jr

SPC Polley died almost two decades ago so I don't know if this message will be seen. In honor of Memorial Day, my agency hands out cards with names of those who have fallen. This year, 2023, I received the card for SPC Polley and was inspired to look up more on him. I am thankful for his service and sacrifice. My condolences to his family. He is not forgotten.

Paul C. Holter III

Love you and miss you always. Since you been gone it has been hard for everyone. I know you loved what you did, and I want to thank you for our freedom. If I can have you back home and safe living your life man everything would be different. No matter how much money they would offer me I would rather have you alive and home. Money comes and go so it's not worth losing you.

Chris was a strong minded person and looked out for other. He was kind and friendly the he made friends with everyone. Chris was truly a great man! I sincerely apologize for not sharing sooner. but would like to express that Chris's memory will never be forgotten! though he is not with us he will always be in spirit! If this message gets to Christopher's mother I she could know she raised a great man and for that I thank you.

James David Parker

I knew James David Parker as "Dave" when he lived in Solon Ohio. We met when I moved into town from out of state. He and his group of friends were a year or two older than me. Dave was a bright beacon of hope and joy to me. I was an unsure young man in a strange place. Dave introduced me to many people and ensured his friends always saved me a seat in the lunchroom. I have fond memories of him and his friends during that time. I doubt so many people would have been as wonderful toward me without Dave's incredible kindness. I've never forgotten his kindness. I hope to be able to pay it forward someday.

Tyler O. Griffin
