We know the truth and we will be together again soon. I just recieved an email from your Aunt Heather and she made me realize that no matter what people say and do they will never have or take away from what we shared. I already knew that but it was a really good reinforcement. I miss you so much. I can't begin to tell you the pain that me or your family feel. There is a void that will never be filled. First I would like to say that you and your family are in my prayers. I came across Mr. Straubs Funeral Announcement in the News Paper and he caught my eye because he looked so young. In case the thought that Mr. Straub died for nothing ever crossed your mind, I would like you to know that he didnt. I am very thankful towards him because he was brave enough to except the challenge of fighting for my freedom and the freedom of all Americans. I know that no word or expression of gratefullness will bring back Army Sgt. Francis Straud Jr., but it may help ease your pain.
